The jewel in Amanda Thompson’s crown, however, is Eclipse, described as a ‘circballet’ and one of the most exciting and beautiful shows I have ever seen. The whole show is a knock-out. The design features real waterfalls, there’s a loud, driving score by Joe O’Connor, it’s influences ranging from the 1812 Overture to Saturday Night Fever, and a sensational laser and light design. As special effect succeeds special effect, look out for those great whooshes of flame. You are transported into a thrilling world of pure sensation. It’s showbiz heaven!

Eclipse is a seamless production, each traditional speciality act given a 21st century spin to gain a mystique of its own! The theme is the four seasons complete with walls of flame and rain, and the score by Joe O’Connor combines perfectly with Antony Johns’ exciting choreography and Paul Lee’s stunning laser and other visual effects.

Eclipse isn’t a case of giving people what they want, it’s giving them more than they can ever dream of.

Eclipse has won ‘Best Production’ at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ Big E Awards in Georgia, USA, defeating opposition from 125 entrants in 12 countries. Stageworks creative director and and Eclipse choreographer Antony Johns said: “This award is a fabulous acknowledgement of all involved – from the very talented performers to the hard-woking backstage and technical crew”
